That is the theme for the week. Marli is 6 months old or 26 weeks. We decided to try out bananas with her since she is old enough to start food. She had fun playing with them on her tray but not so sure she liked them.
Then Jacob and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary. It is wasn't really a celebration since we just went about our normal day. We hope to get a sitter soon to actually do something just the two of us.
Speaking of sitters we are in the process of locating a part time sitter to come to the house to take care of the girls while I work. We were pretty covered over the summer but now that school is about to start we need to change it up a bit. So keep your fingers crossed that one of the 3 people we hope to have met by the time today is done, works out.

Scoot scoot, that is all Emmi has been doing. She got this scooter for her birthday/Christmas but we hadn't set it up until yesterday. It has not left Emmi's side. She scooted over to the neighbors house on it, around our house, and even had to have it in her room last night. She moved it to our bedroom when she snuck into our bed after we had put her to bed, a move she will make most nights if we don't lock our door before we head downstairs after putting the kids to bed.
When Jacob had to fix the face on the tree she wanted to do it. So they took her hammer and she went to work.
It is also funny to listen to Emmi talk to Marli.... This morning when we were all hanging out in bed. Marli went about with her babble/screaming, Emmi immediately replied, "Are you serious, Marli?" which is what you will hear us reply to her. Except it is so much funnier from the almost 3 year old. :)
