Mothers Day

We had a great day. Pretty relaxing and we started our garden of banana peppers, pumpkins, and tomatoes. Here is what happens when Emmi takes over the watering:

It is amazing how at the age of 2 1/2 the little things can become fun for her. She wanted to help empty the dishwasher so she got the task of silverware. She did a great job of putting everything where it goes.



Time has flown by as my maternity leave is fast coming to an end. This coming Monday will be my first day back. Luckily Memere will be here for the first couple days to assist with the transition. She always is such a great help since her trips coincide with key times for us. Cousin Chloe will also be in this weekend to help round out the week.

Marli is now in her crib at night. The bad part is her long stretches of sleep have seemed to gone away. She consistently is sleeping 4-5 hours the first block and then 4 the second block. We are keeping our fingers crossed for the 7 hour stretch to come back since otherwise we may be a tired household starting next week.

Operation Potty Training is well underway. Emmi has daytime and naptime peeing nailed. Yesterday she went #2 on the potty totally on her own. We have bribed her with a big present once she consistently goes so we may be shopping for a pink pool with big slide this weekend as that is what she wants.
